The ferry ride takes less than 50 minutes, no matter which line you choose from mainland to Island of Brač.
If you choose ferry line Split - Supetar, there are still 47 km by car from Supetar to Povlja.
If you take the ferry line Makarska - Sumartin, from Sumartin to Povlja remains 10 km by car.

In the top of the season, we suggest you to sail from Split-Supetar. The big ferries (more than 120 passenger cars capacity) sail every hour and if it is too crowded, additional ferry sails non-stop until the crowd clears up.
On the other side, from Makarska-Sumartin sails an small ferry (less than 30 passenger cars capacity), five times per day, which means that you can easialy spend the whole day waiting for the transfer.
